Chittanappara-The unknown Beauty The Chittanappara is a small village situated in the Kottayam district of Kerala State. The village is between two small cities Bharananganam and Choondacherry. The village is blessed with natural resources. The shortage of water was a problem in the olden days but it got resolved by the implementation of the 'Jalanidhie' project. The village has a cooperative bank, Anganwadi, tuition centers, a toddy parlor, and various stationery shops. Chittanappara is blessed with natural beauty untouched by mankind. My childhood memories are always sweet because I was lucky enough to spend my childhood days in this beautiful village.
